About Us

This Web Site was produced by the members of Journalism 134, Advanced Reporting, a class in the school of journalism and mass communications at San Jose State University during Fall Semester 2003. This is one of the first sites to be produced by a class in jmc.

All the written and graphic material was compiled on an online Yahoo Group site. This allowed us to communicate more efficiently with one e-mail going to everyone. The site also provided insta-polls, online chats and an appointment calendar that increased our communication flow.

The writing and some of the organization was done by the students. The photographs were taken by a Canon G2 and uploaded to a Yahoo Briefcase site.

To complete the site, instructor Stephen Greene finished the layout using Adobe GoLive. It is stored on a web server in Sweeney Hall. The plan is to have future classes work on it.

The students from Journalism 134 gathered outside Dwight Bentel Hall. (first row) Karen Imamura, Kristina Mendoza, Christine Tognetti, Nami Yasue, (second row) Dan Lopez, Mari Sapina, Tammy Krikorian, Robert Hong, (third row) Dave Weinstein, Karey Walker, Janet Pak
