Communicate...

Media careers start here!

SJSU's School of Journalism and Mass Communications, the largest program of its kind in Northern California, offers a full range of courses, from freshman to graduate level. Our degree programs include advertising, journalism and public relations, as well as specialized sequences in broadcast journalism, magazine journalism, reporting/editing and photojournalism.

As one of just seven AEJMC-accredited journalism and mass communications programs in California, we offer our students access to scholarships, competitive prizes, internships and other activities not available in unaccredited programs.

We are located in historic Dwight Bentel Hall at the center of the SJSU campus, and in the heart of the Silicon Valley.
